GLORY, GLORY
TO OLD GEORGIA!

UGA ATHLETICS

UGA Athletics has enjoyed exceptional success over the past several years. Through investments in our programming, infrastructure, and personnel, we have been able to deliver a world-class experience for our more than 500 student-athletes. As we look to the future, our goal remains the same: to recruit and develop today's champions and tomorrow's leaders by providing an inclusive and diverse environment that allows student-athletes to achieve their highest academic, athletic, and personal ambitions. To continue delivering on that promise requires increased resources as the cost of supporting our programs rises.

Fundraising priorities for the campaign fall into three main categories:

Facility enhancements and renovations continue to be a high priority as we seek to attract and retain the very best student-athletes. This campaign will focus on several facility projects that will impact many of our varsity programs.

The indoor tennis center renovation will be a game-changer for our men's and women's tennis programs.

The renovation of Foley Field will continue to elevate both the player and fan experience at UGA's baseball facilities.

The renovation of Jack Turner Softball Stadium will be a significant upgrade for our softball student-athletes.

With football's recent move to their new training facility, we will be able to repurpose and upfit their previous locker room space to create new locker rooms for our men's and women's track and field and cross country programs.

About the Locker Rooms

The Sanford Stadium renovation includes three distinct components: expansion of the 100-level south sideline concourse; the creation of the Press Club; and a new press box with premium seating offerings.

About the Sanford Stadium Enhancements

This new venue will allow for Georgia student-athletes to have a place to train all year, while providing opportunities to host SEC and potentially NCAA national championship events.

After the Spec Towns Track is relocated to South Milledge Avenue, the current track and field space will be converted to two full-length all-grass football practice fields.
